The body shows mental fear through physical symptoms – a contracted body is living in fear. ’Sometimes the very knowledge we carry becomes an illusion — a story that keeps us feeling separate. In short, what we think we know can be the very thing that keeps us from remembering.’ Shiva Sutra (1.2) — Knowledge is bondage (Jñānaṁ bandhaḥ)

What are you holding onto?

Our bodies are cleverer than you think.  They will show dysfunction, disconnection, disease and depression as a survival mechanism.

The way we move in life is based on our perception, belief systems and survival instinct.

Maslow’s hierarchy of survival states that we can only rise and improve when our basic needs are met.

Basic survival needs food, water, and shelter.

Even though we have these needs, many of us stay stuck.

This is not about fixing yourself or becoming someone new… but simply, and gently noticing the stories you’ve been living inside — and remembering what was already here before they were ever written.

The stuff of the mind distorts the truth, believes in the separation and looks externally for the answers that are actually held within.

And it’s that same ‘mind stuff’ that keeps us in a loop of lack, impoverishment and suffering.

It’s the mind stuff that keeps you in struggle.

All the theories in the world are completely useless, unless you take action.

We are a nation of overthinkers and under doers…

When we live in fear, the body automatically contracts, closes and inhibits our natural intuition. Growth cannot happen from a state of fear, victimhood, pain or fight or flight.

Trust in life, as everything you need is within you. If we are not open to receive, the flow of life will not happen. This is so important with movement. Our posture and bodies reveal how we are dealing with life. Nothing in our anatomical system happens in isolation. Every action is shaped by gravity — load, pressure, support, and responsiveness. Yet much anatomy education removes gravity from the conversation, or treats it as background rather than a primary organising force.

Conclusion

So if you lack time in your life, you are a poor timekeeper. If you feel the success of your body and health is beyond your reach. You will not receive. If you lack love for the self, this will reflect in poor relationships and connections. If you feel you are not worthy, this will reflect back too. A contracted body is living in fear!

True beauty is all around us. Do you see the glass half full or half empty. The abundance perspective will allow you to accept. If you are stingy and steal from life, life will be stingy and steal from you. What ever you give out at a subconscious level, is what you will get back.
